Simon Obermeier

I am a year old student, studying Electrial Engineering at University of Applied Sciences Landshut as a masters degree. For my bachelor-degree I attended the Deggendorf Institute of Technology. The subject there was Applied Computer Science with the main emphasis on Embedded Systems. I have been working in a research laboratoy for embedded systems during my whole bachelors and masters degree. My bachelors thesis was also on the topic of embedded programming microcontrollers.

In my free time at home I like to tinker around with personal projects and program. I am a fan of smart-home automation so I also constantly upgrade my own Home-Assistant running on the same Raspberry Pi 4B which hosts this very web page. I also really love Photography in digital but even more in analog. Some of my work can be found on this website in the Photography section. I also have a thing for plants, especially Bonsai. I take care of a good dozen bonsai. Some of them are bought and some of them are propagated from seed and then shaped into Bonsai. I also built two racing Drones with sourced parts and got my drone-license for also flying them.
